As part of the DAF Experience, DAF has an exhibition displaying all the trucks & services offered to customers. This bachelor thesis project encompassed creating an interactive brand experience to communicate the technology driven nature of DAF. A wide variety of new interactive products (Microsoft Surface Multitouch Table, Kinect, RFID) were integrated into one coherent cross-device experience allowing visitors of the exhibition to collect and play with newly provided promotional content.
In this project I collaborated with fellow bachelor intern Marco Geerarts and members of the DAF IT Department. Apart from writing the thesis my responsibilities in this project consisted of project management, concept development, user experience design and software engineering for a range of different devices.
The project was awarded the thesis prize for that year and we were hired to implement the project as consultants at DAF ITD.
